GOLD ARCOS HOTEL, BENIDORM – REVIEW 2023

All the staff were amazing and so helpful, they obviously have very good training as they were the best I had seen in dealing with very rude and rowdy customers. This did arise when a group were asked to pay €200 as a deposit for each room in case of any breakages, it was dealt with quickly and smoothly, very impressive.

The Royal Arrow pub which showed all the sports and had acts inside was underneath the hotel but the most amazing thing was that we could not hear anything when in our room on the second level. The room was ideal with a big balcony, coffee machine, big shower and very comfortable bed. There was one strange thing in that the wardrobe had a light on that stayed on constantly so where there were gaps when the doors closed it shone through all night!

The pool on the top floor was amazing, it was never packed so you could have a relaxing dip looking over all of Benidorm and the sea. The sports bar was kept busy all day plus you could get snacks there all day.

If there were any children in the hotel then the ice cream machine which came out at lunchtime would have been a big hit, you could choose between vanilla or chocolate or even a mix of both. The choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was really good so they catered for all tastes. The only thing I would say was that it was all very bland as if they did not use any seasoning, herbs or flavourings. The chocolate fountain was also a big hit with lots of fruit to dip in it.

The lights around the side of the hotel changed colours every day, we put a few fairy lights up for my birthday, so it all looked very good. The pink bar was very relaxing and had entertainment every night at 9 pm but we never managed to get to it so not sure what it was like.

We had a great holiday.
