We started our journey home, leaving at 8 am Going through Switzerland again was stunning. Stopping for a few breaks and lunch then arriving at the hotel we stayed at on the way down. After a couple of drinks in the bar, we then went in for dinner, we had one of the dining rooms to ourselves which was laid out beautifully.
DAY NINE
We continued our journey back to Calais arriving back in the UK at about 8 pm with some duty-free, so easy when you are on a coach and don’t have to carry it!
A great time was had by all, I would recommend this trip but be prepared for long days and journeys but it is ideal to see all the scenery as you go through the different countries.
Our driver Clive was a right laugh plus he had a good knowledge about all the areas in Italy. I am now looking forward to doing another trip as there is so much of Italy to see. If you have read the previous posts about this trip, I am now going to go back and fill in some photos and information that I could not load.
