HALLOWEEN OCTOBER 31st

The shops have been full of all sorts of Halloween costumes and items, it’s hard to choose and the good thing is that Poundland has so much so if money is a bit tight then pop along there, and your children will love you. I enjoyed myself out in the garden taking all these photos in the sunshine. The grapevine is a lovely two-tone colour at the moment. So many different costumes are available now for everyone.

MALTON & CASTLE HOWARD

The rain did not put us off having a walk around the market town of Malton.  What a selection of beautiful independent shops, the window displays were amazing. We purchased a couple of decorations for our Christmas trees, will show you in a later post. We also bought lottery tickets here as hoping for a bit of Yorkshire luck. SHORT COACH BREAK

It was so nice to go away for a short break and not have to do any driving, I used to take the camper and drive or the car and stay airBnB’s. These luxury coaches are very comfortable plus they have a loo on board. we left Maidstone, Kent about 8.30 in the morning, had a short coffee break then went on to Oakham arriving about 12.30.
