HYTHE FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL
The festival has been on for the last four days and finishes today, it has been super and the weather has been amazing, making it one of the best I have been to. It was great to catch up with all my writer friends on the bookstall and I came away with two free books to read and review, so look out for those next month. We had a great authors area this year with some coming on different days so we had a great selection of authors and books. Debby Jones organised our area where she also launched her book Dan Hawk Psychic Detective which is available on Amazon here. Well done everyone, a super five days and a few books sold so all our authors are smiling. The variety of stalls this year was amazing, everything from cheese to material! WEDNESDAY UNTIL SUNDAY FROM THE 26th JULY This is one of my favourite food festivals that is local to myself, it’s also nice to catch up with friends there and experience all the new stalls. The writing group I run has a marquee with many local authors coming along to meet their readers to sign and sell their books. HYTHE FESTIVAL I popped over to Hythe yesterday which is only about five minutes from Folkestone in the car, traffic was minimal and parking was ok. On the green, in the middle of the one-way system they were holding the festival and my writing group Write By The Sea had a few tables where members were selling their books plus we had use of the marquee for some readings.
