WINCHESTER CHRISTMAS MARKET
It takes about two hours to get to Winchester from Folkestone depending on the traffic but as we went on a Sunday the roads were pretty clear. I had never been to Winchester, I was amazed at so many old buildings, the Cathedral was lovely with such great stained glass windows. LEAS CLIFF HALL, FOLKESTONE You have until 4 pm to get along to The Leas Cliff hall for one of the best craft Christmas events, so much to see with a very varied price range. Did you know you can get Christmas cards with seeds for planting? What a brilliant idea. The reindeer need their Christmas treat and for 50p it’s a bargain. I love the reusable bottles with the cocktail recipe on them. Some lovely jewellery is available so you could grab a few more presents for the big day.

I like nothing better than wandering around a market, this one in London has just about every type of food hut you could wish for. Plus the biggest selection of stalls that sell many random things. Camden is always busy especially in the summer so going now it was pleasant to walk around. Sitting having a coffee and people watching is always good and I often pick up things to write about or just keep them in a notebook for the right story.
