LEMON PIPS
I often save the pips from the lemons and plant them to see if I can grow them. These last lot I left on the windowsill so they dried out a bit. I then planted them in some gritty pond compost, as that was all I had at the time. They must really like that, as about five of them grew. I have just repotted a couple of them and keep putting them outside to harden off during the day. I think I am lucky as my garden is a sun trap, so they really seem to be growing well.…

I had this magazine come through the post, plus it had the free sunflower seeds inside. It is a community and Together TV magazine. It has a bit of everything in it and I almost completed the crossword! I hope they send one out next month as I thought it was informative and the best bit it was free and had your TV listings as well. I do like a challenge. I popped into The Coterie at the weekend as Kara was working. I really love what they have done with the garden, it is so peaceful to sit out there and enjoy a quiet drink in the sunshine. This place will get very popular in the summer as its menu is superb. I can see myself and friends having a sharing board with a bottle of red on a lovely summer evening.
